Bailey Howell Posted January 24, 2009 Posted January 24, 2009 Does anyone have stats? Will Skaggs set a new record for assists in one game. The previous record was 17, by Sean Conley. Skaggs had 19 assists tonight.
mcpapa Posted January 24, 2009 Posted January 24, 2009 Is this a rivalry game? It used be, that's for sure. Congrats to the Tomcats on the big win!
addout Posted January 24, 2009 Posted January 24, 2009 So Ashland scored 97 points on Boyd County?:ohbrother:I won't say what I'm thinking. Congrats to the Tomcats!

I would say losing 3 Seniors(2 - starters) and 2 Juniors will probably make you look worse. Give it time, it might even be worse than that.
FireMarshallBill Posted January 24, 2009 Posted January 24, 2009 Is this a rivalry game? The only way this game will ever be a rivalry again, is if Wayne Breeden comes back and Boyd county can round up some Ramey Home kids. Both programs have weakened tremendously, especialy Boyd.

It's true that neither team are the powerhouses they once were. The first time out this year Ashland scored over 100 points playing BC on their own court. It's a shame that both teams have endured the loss of some key players.

FireMarshallBill Posted January 24, 2009 Posted January 24, 2009 Who else did Boyd lose. Boyd has lost Wes Steele(Starting Point Guard), Zach Wilson (Starter-Best Athlete), Zach Messer(6'8" Center-should have started), Kevin Stewart and Donnie Bryant - Both hard nosed defensive players.
