You should just be fortunate you have a job people are loosing their jobs left and right!:confused:

I would have to say I really don't wish for another job. I really like my job. While I should be paid ALOT more (shouldn't everyone) I truly enjoy it. However, I do look at the Erin Andrew's and other female sports reporters and think...I could do that job so well (and sure the pay would be great)!

Whenever I watch Futureweapons I find myself wishing I had that guy's job. Get to handle all sorts of awesome firearms that most people will never in their lives see, AND get paid well for it! That's a dream job right there!

I think one of the worst jobs might be in construction. Most of those men work outside in the terrible heat and bitter cold. In addition, the wear and tear on their bodies takes its toll. I know a lot of construction workers with bad backs, knees, etc. Very tough work.

 

Best job? I guess right now ANY job is the best job. I always thought the movie critics on tv had it made. Watch movies and tell people what they thought of them. Pretty cool.

We're all guilty of it. We envy other people for their jobs, or we look at someone and say "I wish I had that job. They have it so easy. It's so fun."

 

The last few days, I've been thinking the opposite, based on jobs in the hotel where I work.

 

In this weather, our Valets, Bellmen, Doormen and Bell Captain are still expected to stand outside to be able to assist our guest in opening doors, parking cars, assisting with luggage. I absolutely wouldn't want their job for anything in the world. This is the worst time of the year, money-wise, for them, and the conditions are deplorable. But somehow, we have a core of employees who have been here for years. Our Bell Captain has probably been here for at least 15 years. Think how many winters he's stood for 8-12 hours a day in the brutal cold, in the snow, the rain, the heat.

 

We have 2 Brazilian boys here on their summer break working as bellmen. Think what a shock this is to their systems. I hope they still have a good impression of the US when they leave in a couple of months. :lol:

 

The boys from Hungary seem to handle it the best.
