Getting ready to lounge around the rest of the day....ahhhhhh. Did all the errands/grocery/cleaning/working-out/running kids yesterday and this morning.... so it’s time for some fun cooking, reading, and serious downtime until the Bowl of Supers comes on later. Love Sundays!

March Madness.

Same here...Ky Sweet 16 more specifically, but I'll have the TV on all night too to catch college ball as well.

Working on my phone app and drinking Publix spiked sweet tea. :) I do some of my best programming after a bourbon or three.

Me too. I really hope Chris Paul gets a shot at a championship.

Ludlow Bromley Yacht Club. Pork Chop Night. Nice breeze and a refreshing drink. Life's good.

Just gave Jericho (the puppy) a bath. Now watching him go crazy through the house rubbing up on everything he can. I love these moments.

Contemplating my navel. It's an innie and echoes profusely when I speak in its general direction.

This exercise has actually taught me something. I am not self-originating. I did not come into this world on my own. I am derived from another, actually two others.

I am not self-sustaining. I depended on another for sustenance and life itself. First, my mother, then her milk, now the bounty of nature, for food, oxygen, clothing and shelter.

I am not self-explanatory. My maleness is only understood as it is differentiated from femaleness. My identity is, in part, wrapped up in another and what I contribute to the relationship. Biology tells me that my completion is in another. I am made for another who is distinct and different. This leads me to see that I am made for a web of relationships, each with its own unique role.

The reference point did not begin with my parents. Because as I relate to them they related to two others. This chain goes back... to the beginning.

If I am not self-originating, or self-sustaining, or self-explanatory and this is true of every other human, it leads me to another question. Is there Someone who is the originator of all that is, the One who sustains all that is, the One who provides the explanation to all that is? Who is this One?

So, you see, I am naval gazing...
