NKY Poll: Week 4

Featured Replies

NewCath is too high, and Highlands is too low. NCC ought to be about 6, and Highlands ought to be about 5.

NCC beat Highlands...I agree though that they're ranked a little too high.

Amazing that only 2 coaches voted...

That's pathetic.

I agree. There were I believe 7 or 8 in week one...which is still pathetic when in years past, you'd have atleast 15 coaches every week voting.

Do coaches have an obligation to vote?

Do coaches have an obligation to vote?

To answer your question, No.

The point is, we were just wondering why so many coaches weren't doing it this year, when they had in the past.

This year the coaches are suppose to enter their poll picks online each week using SIDStats. The poll is only open each week from Sunday 7am until Monday 2pm. This weeks poll is open 1/4 (7am) until 1/5 (2pm). Maybe as the year goes along more coaches will become familiar with posting their poll picks online and the number of coaches making picks increases.

I agree. Also Covcath has played well lately and got no mention at all in this poll. I'd go with something like this:

1. Holmes

2. Boone

3. Ryle

4. Newcath

5. Scott

6. Highlands

7. Campbell Co

8. Beechwood

9. Conner

10. Covcath

10. Holy Cross

where is Brossart? They have only one loss and beat Highlands.

I would agree with this one as well. You gotta mention CovCath as they are an entirely different team at this point. Top 3 are definitely the top right now.

I'll take a shot at it.

1. Holmes

2. Boone Co.

3. Ryle

4. New Cath

5. Scott

6. Campbell Co.

7. Bishop Brossart

8. Beechwood

9. Highlands

10. Conner

11. Holy Cross

12. Covington Catholic

I'll take a shot at it.

Huge upset with "11" over "3"..

LOL, looks like my rankings last all of 3 hours before they became out of date.

I honestly think 3-10 are too close to give a ranking for, after tonight. Boone and Holmes seem to be the class of the 9th and the most consistent. I do think Boone will lose one or two more nky games outside of a loss against Holmes though.

HA alright:thumb:, looking forward to that game.

After tonight I'm thinking I just might be eating my words. Congrats to your Indians on the big win over Ryle.

:lol:Thanks, I just want the Indians to get a little more respect.

Do coaches have an obligation to vote?

No obligation, but why wouldn't they vote?

Or, if they don't want to vote, why don't they give it to an assistant and at least have them fill it out?

If nothing else, it at least will bring some credibility to those who are covering the sport.
