January 3, 200917 yr Author They way I remember it, these threads were started when Tomsportshack(think that was his name) started 2 of the same thread and asked for one to be deleted. I said don't delete it and that it could be awesome since it was a blank thread. Then everyone started talking about the old days when late night bgp was bumping. Then these threads came about. Thats how I remember it, even if it didn't happen. Drunken recall isn't what it use to be. :lol:That may be true. I don't remember the specifics around the birth of the Late-Niters' threads. I do know that I started them because of a lot of randomness that was going on in various threads--especially at night. So it just seemed to make sense to create a place where people could hang out during the slow times, like the middle of the night.
