The Late-Niners ('09) Thread: New Year...Old Friends

Featured Replies

I am done with Jerry McGuire, so I turned off the video games as well. The lady friend still hasn't made her over from the bowling alley with friends, so I decided to start another movie...

Anyone seen, "The Man in the Iron Mask"? It's one of my all time favorites.

haha...it only gets old when I don't get to pick the movie lol.

Yeah FF gets mad at me when I pick the movie and then fall asleep lol. He is then stuck watching a movie that he really doesn't want to watch.

I did good the other night, we watched "What happens in vegas". Good movie. I think I stayed awake b/c I had drank a half of bottle of wine and had snacks in front of me lol.

I would have thought the half a bottle of wine would have made you more tired lol. And as for this girlfriend, she isn't to bad because we generally get to pick the movie together, so it's at least something I would like to see. That last girlfriend I had would always pick Monsters Inc. and Finding Nemo, while both great movies...they get old over time lol.

That's a good one. Also recommend the Count of Monte Cristo (sp?).

That movie is also good as well. To many write off The Man in the Iron Mask before giving it a chance just because Leonardo DiCaprio is in it. But, I actually think he does a great job, as well as the others.

Classic avatar rocket...you're welcome

Captain and Coke is awesome...:dancingpa

And I'm loving the pub that UK football is getting on SportsCenter.

Pretty quiet these days.

From what I hear, the regulars are dropping like flys

Just had a nice bowl of chicken noodle soup....

It was great

I used to be a regular then quit posting when it became a fad. Thinking about getting back on the waggon to start the new year.

Anybody else have trouble getting their wits back after new years eve? We went to a Japanese Steakhouse before we went out and a friend I used to like kept buying the old roomates from college rounds of warm sakki bombs! I told the owner we would leave if he would tell my friend "If executed properly there is no defense for the crain kick" Karate Kid!

Well I thought the people I usually see posting here had lost their posting rights...looking back that's not the case
