Big Slick
Great Job Lions, hope all of the Lions and their fans are having a good time. Be safe coming home and good luck tomorrow!
Matlock
That was a quality win against a team that would certainly be top 10 in Kentucky! Evan Faulkner showed why he is a Division 1 player tonight when Ethan fouled out. (That might have been the worst offensive foul call I have ever seen). 29 points, nine rebounds, 12-15 FT's. Ferguson hit some big shots and Timmy Knipp took over offensively when needed and held his own against a solid big man. This win shows Elliott belongs in discussions of the top teams in the state for those who had any doubt.
Bigcat08
I heard that there was around 200 fans in the Elliott Co. performing arts center to watch the game on live webcast and support their Lions. I thought they played very well against a very athletic team. Congrats Lions!!!!

3Ball
They just said on BBC during the Pennsbury game that over 300 people were in attendance at the Perf. Arts Center. And they also said it would be Pennsbury playing tomorrow for 3rd place, not Elliott.
Wireman
Actually, Pickering is now 27-5 after today's game and they are as athletic as any team in Kentucky. They would easily be a top 10 team in this state, IMO. Elliott is playing for the consolation championship, which doesn't count as a place. After studying the consolation bracket some more I realize that you are right and they will be the playing for consolation champion.

KNOWITALL
Great game by the Lions yesterday. Ferguson hit some key shots in the 1st half to get the Lions going. He also hit the Biggest shot when Pickering went zone with the score tied 51-51 and busted a 26 footer and Pickering didnt go zone again. #2 and T. Knipp were big when #1 fouled out. The C. Knipp to Ferguson baseball pass was a thing of beauty. #2 hit his Free Throws at the End. Good luck to the Lions Today
sidelinecoach
J. Ison will be a force to be reckoned with in the coming years. Just let him get some more experience and he'll be another "big man" on the floor!! Just imagine how much he would have improved if the coach would have let him play during some of last years blowouts, not to mention the fact that he did not dress for varisty! Or only if the coach would have let him practice with the varisty! Coach Mays wasted a year on this kids development.
