I think Fleming was 14-15 last year and have the exact same team from last year. This year they seem to be worse when everyone expected bigger and better things from this team. Just wondering if anyone have seen them play and why they are not doing as well as expected?

 

I saw them for a quarter last night against Augusta. They made a nice comeback when they got down 13, but couldn't get over the hump.

 

Lots of names I recognize from the Panther football team; although that should not be an excuse (getting basketball legs back) this late.

Doesn't entire starting 5 play football?

No - Frasure and Jolly do not play football. The others do but I agree with papa that shouldn't really play into things at this point.

It is a big problem. Fleming has some talented kids, but without the right kind of direction they are going nowhere.

I agree with this statement. It is obvious that the players don't respect the coach. Several times today there were instances of talking back to the coach. I think Frasure has lost complete control of this team. It is time for him to head to the next stop and get someone in there that can do something with this team. There is absolutely no reason for this team to be doing this poorly. They have much more talent and ability than they are showing. It is time the Fleming administration stepped in this situation.

I think the boys they have now can play, but that 7th grade bunch(if they don't have any transfers) have potential as well. Don't forget though, there has been many an outstanding middle school team for every county in Kentucky over the last 20 years that hasn't panned out in high school for whatever reason. Could write a book on the subject in Bracken County.

Lewis Co is on a roll.

Their last 2 wins have been without their starting center who is visiting his family over the break. Im not saying Lewis Co. can beat Elliott Co., but I do believe when playing well they have the ability to compete with almost any other team in the 16th.

Nobody really wants to see a Coach Hampton team in the post season.
