Holmes is not very deep. Yes' date=' they have a solid 4 starters, but Housley, D. Johnson trade starts and Arnold is the only one that can contribute off the bench. It will be interesting to see what they do if someone can get them in fould trouble.[/quote']

Pittman was in foul trouble against Ballard and they still won. He went to the bench at the 5:00 mark of the first quarter and came out in the second half and dominated.

Holmes may not be very deep but their first 7 are good enough that it's going to take getting atleast 2 or 3 players in foul trouble before it affects them.

Pretty thin crowd due to bad weather conditions in Central KY.

Bryan Station took a 10-0 lead to start the game. Holmes fought back and took the lead at half time. Close until 4th and then Holmes took it over.

I agree, but honestly, who is very deep with quality?

Not too many, but someone said they hope they win out. Heck, its December and if your looking to beat them, you have to get Riley and Pittman in foul trouble early and make them sit. IMO

Congrats to Coach Henley and the Bulldogs.

Still a long way to go and no time to get a big head.

They don't hang banners in December.

Congrats to Eta Rho and all the Holmes fans. You are the #1 team in the state.:thumb:

C.M..?

C.M..?

:ylsuper:

Holmes is the clear cut vote as #1 in KY if you ask me.

Who is C...M...?

:ylsuper:

I'm not too sure about that. He's not even dressing varsity yet, I don't think. He may still be a little too small and not physical enough.

The talent is definetly there though and he will be a player the next few years. Saw on a recruiting site the other day where he was ranked #7 for his class.

I was going to say the SAME thing Eta.

Who is C...M...?

Christian McClendon. 6'0/6'1 8th grader who is widely regarded as one of the top 10 players at this point for his class.

Played with the NKY Tarheels and Wolfpack. Averaged around 25 a game at Summit View as a 6th and 7th grader.

What I've heard, is they told him if he keeps working hard, he may be dressing by mid Jan. Now this is coming from someone who knows the family, you may know more.
