December 23, 200817 yr How were the roads? I want to go get a bottle of wine but don't want to go if they are really bad. I would have to go about 3 miles on a curvy road. Here in Richmond not bad so far. I heard on the radio that some bridges and overpasses on I-75 are becoming slick and hazardous.
December 23, 200817 yr On the Kentucky Transportation web site they say I-75 is slick and hazardous from mile marker 97.54 to mile marker 191.78. They also report I-75 is blocked in both directions at mile marker 108 due to numerous accidents.
December 24, 200817 yr For the past four years or so, my family has hosted a dance in Southgate with all proceeds going to a great cause--Hospice of NKY. It's become a fun tradition with mostly friends, family, and friends of friends in attendance. My immediate family and I take pride in putting on a pretty good party. (At least we think it's pretty good because people keep coming back!!) Right after Christmas, it'll be time to make the final preparations for the big night. We're going with a 50's theme this year, so that should be interesting.
December 24, 200817 yr We are thinking about having a big Hotel party instead of paying a $40 cover at every bar we go to. Go to the party at the Madison then. You get in, a nice dinner, transportation, and an open bar. Plus the ticket sales are limited so it doesn't get so jam packed that you can't move.
December 24, 200817 yr Out early for Dinner(6 ish) with friends. Then it's back home to stay. My wife will be asleep by 11pm on the couch.
