Featured Replies

You've seen them for a couple of weeks.......who isn't getting their just due !

Jake Geisler of NCC did not get much pub at the beginning of the season for the Breds. I don't necesariy think he is underated by anyone now, but I don't think anyone thought he would contribute the way he has since his retunr from Football

I have two for Clark County. Ryan Williams and Corey Rogers. Williams has picked up where he left off in football. Rogers is getting overshadowed by Vinny Zollo.

Cov. Cath. - Michael Robinson. He is just getting back in to basketball shape after starting at WR this fall. Very good defensive player. Hard nosed. Scrappy. Will get in the lane and rebound. Huge up-side. A diamond in the rough.

Jeremiah Johnson for Holmes. After last season a lot were questioning his offensive skills and he is quietly averaging double figures so far this year and has rebounded very well.

For Highlands, Steven Gordon. He has really been a nice contributor this year and moved in to a starting role after being a bench player in the pre season.

I agree with you about Gordon. He handles the ball good and makes some good assist too. He is a player that will get stronger and stronger as the season goes on.

Gordon really impressed me in the preseason. He has improved since.

Sean Samsel from Manual has impressed. In the 7th region you didn't hear his name mentioned as one of the better point guards. He's been playing pretty well since Jenkins went down with his injury. He did make the all tourey team in the KOB this week. He was 2nd in assists for the tourney behind the leader in assists Siva.

With Jenkins return Manual's back court should be one of the better ones in the state.

Samsel has really improved since last year and stepped his game up. Not playing with Jenkins for two weeks really helped him develop in to a better PG IMO.

#21 for NewCath, I cant think of his name, but he has a nice shot. Also I saw Highlands and CovCath play, and I thought Watson really stood out, and i didnt hear much of him all year. Holmes also has a nice player in Riley? I believe is his name.

Isaac Wilson for the Redhounds. He's a tough competitor and as Isaac goes so does Corbin.

Isaac Wilson is the heart and soul of the Redhound Basketball team.

I agree on the players...just not the reasoning. Ryan is small , but very quick. He is not a great scorer in basketball, but is the type of player that makes everyone better, and plays great defense. These type of players get overlooked all the time, but hard to win games without them.

Cory Rogers has REALLY IMPROVED since last year. So glad coach started him as a Freshman last year. This year he is averaging around 19 points a game, last year around 9 or 10. He is a true work horse on the team. I love watching him play. He is thrilled when other players make a great play...not a selfish bone in his body...just wants the team to win.
