Allow me to re-phrase then since you didn't answer the question.

Do you honestly believe the media is culpable in this arson?

I don't believe the media is culpable in this arson, but I do believe that it is worth noting how little coverage it has received.

I did answer the question but perhaps I need to be more clear for your sake. We will not know whether the media has any culpability until and if the perpetrators of this crime are identified and interrogated. If it is the work of a lone illiterate madman who lives among the wolves and has no access to radio or TV, then obviously the media's warped coverage of Sara Palin's religious views will have played no role.

So you've indirectly said that "yes, the media is at fault."

Why not just say it directly?

I knew it. I've been warning about these people for years, but no one would listen to me. I know how Al Gore feels now.

Absolutely not.

The media's warped coverage? You are kidding me, right? There was very little play in the media over the teachings and it lasted less than 1 or 2 full news cycles.

And some of the stuff that was preached there was weird. IMHO

You obviously are not interested in the very clear answers that I provided to you. Only an idiot would assess blame for an arson case without knowing who set the fire and for what reasons it was set. The people who set the fire are to blame for the fire and the damage that was done. They should fry for setting a church on fire with five people inside. Whether the media played any contributing role or not cannot be determined with the facts that we have.

Is my third attempt to answer your question clear enough for you? If not, then you will need to give ESP a shot because I will not answer your question a fourth time.

You are kidding me, right? You are wrong unless you define a news cycle as a calendar month. Sara Palin's reliogion never left the news and it was not portrayed in a favorable light by the mainstream media.

The media knows that it might very well have played a role in getting Palin's church torched.

So let me get this straight.

You first say that the media KNOWS it might have played a role. You then tell me that ONLY AN IDIOT WOULD ASSESS BLAME.

Classic.

If you simply want to hurl insults, Clyde then just do it and stop wasting time with the preliminaries. I calmly answered your question in three different ways and what thanks do I get? You parse my posts to imply that I have called myself an idiot, when in fact I did no such thing. You can do better, my friend. I know that you can.

I didnt hurl insults. I simply restated what you said. I'm confused because on one hand you blame the media and then you say one would be an idiot to blame the media. I'm just trying to get a straight answer to my original question. No insults. Just confusion.

I'm confused, too. And I certainly didn't see you hurl any insults, though there are several around here that do.
