Nothing is impossible with good teams in the NFL. I do think it will be REALLY tough though especially with Eli having the pressure build. Jacobs takes a lot of pressure off of him. Between reading more coverage/blitz + defenses not having to scheme a 260lb freight train the road will be really tough. I think they have a shot but I don't like their chances without him.

To me the winner of the game next week is the favorite to win the NFC unless the Cowboys win out. If they can win out then that is A TON of momentum going into the playoffs. Funny how the roles have flopped between the Boys + GMen from last year. Will be fun to see it play out. I'm looking forward to watching the Giants/Panthers next weekend and I'm not a huge fan of either although I am a Steve Smith (Car not NY) fan. The Panthers have a nice 1-2 punch and Delhomme hasn't played his best ball yet. He used to have the clutch label so they are a dangerous team.

I really thought that the Giants would put it together this week and beat the jumbled mess that is "Dallas". Though Jacobs was out, and the distraction of the Burress mess, this could be the unraveling of the Giants mentally. If they don't play well when Jacobs comes back, they have no excuses to give themselves. Next week is very pivotal for the Giants to win against Carolina. I truly believe that if they lose, they are done, because ther confidence as a team will be done!

They may win against Carolina, but it isn't going to be a big win as you're predicting. It'll be a very good game.

:lol: What does that even mean? There are no such facts that can prove anything about whether or not someone will win the big game. Romo is an excellent QB very early in his career. Will he win it all? I don't know but I think that he will. If Marino can't and Dilfer can then anything can happen. If you don't think he has the skills to get it done then you're nuts.

The Panthers might have to rely a lot on their running game next week, and the Giants have a good run D. The winds might be a swirling again in Giants stadium next week.
