I don't have a dog in this one, but do the wins not count unless you're suiting up against a squad from the mighty 7th, 9th or 11th? Should teams be penalized because their regional opponents aren't perennial powerhouses? Maybe have to spot them 20 or 30 points so the wins aren't blowouts?

 

Here's a news flash. Elliott County is a top-5 team this year. Just because they're not from the Golden Triangle doesn't mean it ain't so. It doesn't happen often, but a little school from Eastern Kentucky just happens to have a talented group of seniors that have played together for years; and this is their year to shine.

 

How would the Lions fare in the 7th, 9th or 11th this year? We'll never know.

Hmmm, let's see. Elliott County has 9 players to score and Morgan County only has 6. I really don't think that we can play that card.

Just to humour you, I know C Knipp and the twins only played right at three quarters and Ferguson played 2-1/2. Does that help you out any???? I can give you Coach Mays phone number if it would help.
