Sounds like Lexcath came to play tonight. They played very sloppy against Covcath.

I'm somewhat surprised Sanford didn't score more than 21. He was clearly the best player in the gym.

Yes that is quite impressive, along with 7 rebounds and 9 steals very impressive!:thumb:

19in the first half and he only played in about 3 or 4 minutes in the 2nd half.

 

LexCath's press was unreal. I'd say there are only about 5 teams in the state than can beat that press consistantly and make them pull out of it.

Is Sanford being looked at by any D1 schools?

Sanford was on the bench with a ice pack on his knee in the second half. Have no idea what happened anyone know why?

I think he may have banged his knee or bruised it on a hustle play where there was lose ball. He was limping in the 2nd quarter but came back in twice after that. Im sure it was just for swelling. He seemed fine.

 

I've heard a handful of D-1 schools are after Sandford. UC, XU, Vandy, and possibly even Kentucky. In the summer it was said that UK had asked him if it was a possibity to go to a prep school for a season and then come to UK. By the end of the year I would think UK is going to have to offer him a scholarship, he's the real deal.

The dark side for St. Henry was the fact they got beat by 22, but the bright side of it was the balanced scoring. Playing teams like Lexington Catholic will only make them better.
