Pangallo will be very good this season and he has some shooters to go along with him so I expect his assists avg to be around 8 or 9 a game. I havent heard any talk about NCC B-ball much on this board what gives? Who will be starting for them?

I think HC will struggle offensively this season. The Giwa and Pangallo matchup should be a good one. I will take NCC 58-48

Which scrimmage did you watch? The one I seen they beat Deer Park @ 120 to 60, in 5 quarters.

 

Let's face it though, Deer Park wasn't very good at all.

I like NCC by about 9. I think Holy Cross will be the most improved team by the end of the season. However, the season is early and New Cath is the better team right now. I could be wrong, but I like the 'Breds in this one.

I agree, one decent player. I did like all the 3's in an unfamiliar jym though.

The one in Cinci where they played CHCA and Walnut Hills I believe.

Holy Cross plays a very hard man to man defense which will cause alot of trouble for Geisler who is probably the go to man on offense for NCC this year. Should be an interesting game to watch!!!! I don't Pangallo will have much trouble starting the offense against Giwa.

if NCC doesn't run with Pangallo, Connor and Meyer they'll have trouble scoring out of a set. Meyer is a good player but his lack of expierence might hurt him. Over all best offensive threat would be Connor however they should compliment each other very well!

I'll have to respectfully disagree with you, because of your reasoning. If you said Connor is the best offensive player it would be understandable. However, overall is why I chose Meyer because he's the more complete player. Connor is a spot up shooter. He doesn't create his own shot well, nor does he get to the basket. I really like Connor as a player. He's a great shooter, and he does a good job handling the ball, but he's just not a complete scorer... yet.

Connor has to prove himself going to the basket which Meyer is at best ok there. However Connor is much better outside which is why I think they'' compliment each other. So I guess maybe neither are "complete" offensivley. None the less if those two aren't getting the ball NCC might not score!

I didnt think Meyer was much of a driver. I always thought he was a spot up shooter and had trouble getting shots off the dribble. Is this something he has worked on in the offseason and is better at or was it just him being a sophomore last season?
