In all honesty none of the teams I ranked 7-10 belong on any top list. Odd year for NKY football.

 

 

I think that is a valid point. The bottom four teams all had some big struggles this year. Maybe N. Ky. overall was down a little this year. Although HHS, Beechwood and NCC all are looking good in their title runs. Unfortunately, I think SK's season ends tonight but a great end of season and playoff run for them. I hope they prove me wrong tonight.

Why do you definitely think that? I am not a Cov Cath fan but they played a brutal schedule and beat NCC and Dixie. Plus, they won a playoff game, so how you think Dixie should be ahead of them is very confusing to me. Ryle staggered across the finished line and lost thier playoff game...It's all opinioned based but I don't think my opinions are unsound.

 

Ryle beat Dixie head-to-head late in the season. Close game, but Ryle won nonetheless. Ryle's losses at the end were to very good teams - Fern Creek, Boone, and Henry Clay (who BGP predicted to go to the championship game). I just don't consider that "staggering across the finish line." There schedule strength also matched CCH's. And, just my opinion of course, but I don't think CCH could have beaten Ryle this year. Their defense was just too weak.

I think Ryle would have fared the same as CCH had Ryle played the CCH schedule. The difference is that they would have or were more competitive in some of the games.
