9 all night and occasionally more. They ran the safety up numerous times.

They had 11 and would have had the coaches if they could. Very dominating performace by JC. This CC was not anywhere near the 06 team. From what I saw tonight, CC would have finished fourth in our district and several 3A, 2A and a few 1A teams in our area could beat them.

 

Van Sant is awesome, great speed.

Sounds like this game was out of CCH's coaches hands.

Fourth in what district? They were obviously much better than Woodford County, if you are talking about Class 5A, District 6.

Due to the tie breaker yes. But at the end of the season, I dont know if Woodford could have beat Montgomery, and thats the truth. They end of the season was a total collapse in all phases. I would have rated BS at #2, Ashland at #3, and Woodford at #4.

CC could not have beat Brayn Station and would have struggled with Woodford at the first of the year. I do not think they could have beat Ashland. This is just based on what I saw tonight.

Hey guys not rubbing it in, but all last week the post for CC said JC was too slow and one dimensional, and maybe we are, but it works!

IMO if the weather was not so horrible last Saturday, Cov Cath may not have gotten past Woodford. You could tell Woodford could move the ball thru the air, but not with 20mph winds and freezing rain.

ONE LAST TIME, NOBODY FROM CCH SAID JC WAS SLOW. There was talk about them being one dimensional, and they proved that tonight. Please stop saying things that are not true.

 

Congats to JC, you guys have one heck of a football team. Your coaches had an excellent game plan that was executed to perfection(along with the Colonels).:thumb:

Maybe a couple of times this year prior to tonite. I'd guess game 1 is a possibility. Elder had a kid with 5 TDs in the first half. HHS put up 55 pts in one half.

 

I think the boys that played played hard but they simply were overmatched in many games.

I wouldn't call 118 yards passing when you rush for 263 moving it thru the air. Woodford's QB passed for over 1600 yds this year, but they only had 108 against Cov Cath. You could tell they have some pretty decent receivers after the catch. I think Cov Cath still wins, but it is alot closer.

From a positive CCH perspective, I do appreciate how game in and game out opponents and their fans commented on the play of Pat Van Sant. The kid could start for anybody, and I am sure his football career is not over.
