It's Fugate time tonight at Belfry.

He's the best player I've seen this year and I've seen a lot of the top teams in the state.

He has REALLY good size for a KY back. He has breakaway speed. Not 4.4 or anything but he is much faster than he looks + really fast for his size. The thing is I've seen him spin inside when that is the only move he could have made to escape. I've seen him floor people with his stiff arm. I've seen him run through people and away from people. People know he is getting the ball and scheme to stop him only. It doesn't matter. He is just an all around GREAT KY high school RB! I'm glad people will get to see him in Louisville. I hope he puts on a show there against the D1 defensive kids Central has. It will be tough but I would be shocked if they totally shut him down.

We from Harlan County have been saying it all year and it fell upon deaf ears, the kid is awesome. I'm not ashamed now knowing that no one can stop him and I doubt Central will either. He is a man beast at only 16 or 17 years old. This exposure will definatley help his 2009 Mr. Football campaign.

I think Fugate will have a good shot at Mr. Football. He's definitely got the talent. Now, he's starting to get the publicity/exposure that most mountain kids don't ever get. Playing this week in L'ville will only enhance the hype, especially if he has a good game. Hopefully, this will let everyone see what we already know: There's a lot of talent in Eastern Ky. Good luck to Breathitt, Bell and Hazard.

NCbird got it right. Collinsworth would not weigh 220 in his full uniform after he had eaten a Jeff Ruby Steak. It will be between Fugate, Simpson and Collinsworth. You can check out Simpson and Collinsworth on the carpet this Friday.

Simpson took an otherwise average Simon Kenton team to the finals last night by scoring 3 td's vs Male.

Collonsowth had an interception and a kick-off return for a td as well as several catches.

I have seen both Collinsworth and Simpson play several times and they are the real deal. Have not seen Fugate, but he puts up some great numbers.
