Kentucky can expect to sign a top-10 national class on Wednesday, recruiting analysts say. Then UK will use the rest of the basketball year to try to improve that class.

 

 

Big man Daniel Orton, wing Jon Hood and point guard G.J. Vilarino are expected to sign with Kentucky on Wednesday, the first day of the week-long November signing period.

 

 

Analyst Dave Telep of the Scout.com recruiting service rates that trio at No. 7 among the classes being signed this month. Jerry Meyer of Rivals.com has UK's class at No. 10.

Actually Rivals has them at 8.

How about IU and UK's ex-coaches also in the Top 20? Pretty funny isn't it? Although Davis could recruit he was just a terrible coach.

I hope we can get all we can year in and year out, but the comment at the end of the article by Lucas seems a little selfish and that could lead after a period of time, to mess with team chemistry, imvho.

What happens when Tubby has to recruit out of the state of Minnesota though? Looks like he came away with two unranked, three-star prospects.

It's the only University in the State, and I would guess they produce some solid talent, I'm not suprised if he nabbed a few blue chip in state players. Now out of state, that's a different scenario.
