Boone will come out a winner in this one. The only way to stop the Boone offense is to stack the box, if more teams would have done that this year rushing numbers for Boone wouldn't be that great. Campbell Co. stacked up against Boone and did a good job containing Quinoo. Once teams realize that Boone runs the same handful of plays 90% of them running and adjust their defenses, Boone won't be stopped untill they meet a Louisville powerhouse. Once that happens it's game over. It's an unfair advantages for private schools to not have their own divisions and untill that happes 2 Louisville teams will be in the state title game.

Boone won't be challenged in this game as I agree with you on Dunbar.....but a possible 2nd round game with Henry Clay, and a possible semi's matchup with either Scott County or Madison Central would be against teams they went 0-3 against.

 

I agree they will be challenged. They aren't going to walk their way to the finals like some people think they are going too.

I don't think Dunbar will get a sniff of the end zone, except during warmups and when Boone Co. scores. But, that would be the wrong end zone they would want to sniff.

All three Louisville teams Boone has lost to have been close, Of course the team wasn't firing on all cylinders against Scott Co. because it was the first game of the year (not using that as an excuse). The Henry Clay game came down to who had the best offense, but once Quanioo went out with an injury they could move the ball. The Hook and Laderal last week against Madison Central should of never happened, Boone had the game won, but it goes to show you one play can change the whole game.

Looks like it will be rainy tonight..... which reminds me of my first ever Boone Co. football game back in 1997 when Boone beat Dunbar on a rainy night in Florence. The field was a mess it was muddy as all heck.

Oppenheimer will get the start at runningback tonight for the Rebels, look for Quanioo o run the ball a couple of times.

I think that's a good decision, Quainoo shouldn't be needed for a BC win, let him get back to full strength.

I don't think it matters who is RB for Boone tonight.

Is there any word on Alford is he indeed out for the playoffs too? If so is Walsh ok?

Alford is out for the season, I highly doubt the doctor will release him to play these next couple of weeks, Walsh's foot is getting better, he will get the start tonight.
