An ugly win for the Raiders, but it's still a senior night win.

 

Congrats to the Bearcats on a great inaugural season. W-V is a fine team and will be making noise in the not too distant future.

Congrats to the Raiders.

Kudos to coach poynter and his boys on finishing the season on a positive note.

 

Next up Beechwood

Good job Raiders, Very young team getting better at the end of the year. Congrats to the few seniors on a big win to finish your home tenure. TC is very proud of the way you played tonight.

Now comes the fun part. Beechwood. I've gotta pull for the little guy in this one even if you did trounce us.

This was a very good game! Very few penalties, maybe 3-4 whole game. Game was tied at 8, then 16, WV forced a punt, started a drive, but a fumble ended it, TC took a knee. WV was able to stop the A-11, but not #5, he was able to keep moving the chains.

 

As a WV parent, I was very proud of the players and the coaches. WV entered every game expecting to win, they end their season 4-6 with a 6 point loss to Trimble, 3 point loss to Cooper and a 1 point loss to Gallatin.

 

I have watched many of TC vs WV baseball, softball, basketball, voleyball, always competitive! Good luck TC.

Great post! :thumb: I believe this was the best game of the year for the Raiders. The Raiders had grab the short end of the stick a couple of games this year. Losing to Gallatin by a touchdown when Trimble could of easy won. And losing to Eminence by 2, when the Raiders got two touchdowns called back.

 

Walton did all they could and has a great ball club. They have the best first year ball club in the state in my opinion. #5 is a better running back than quarterback and it would have taken a lot more to stop him on his senior night.

 

Game evenly match. Great game and can't wait to see these two teams meet again.

The Bearcats should be very proud of their inaugural season! They more success than a first-year team should have; and they had a few games where they just missed pulling off the victory.

Coach Poynter and the boys great job- you got better every week. That is the sign of a good coach and a young team listening and working.

WV has some very good players and will be a good football program. They have done things the right way. Good luck in the future.
