He just said something on the lines of, "I have talked to all the past Presidents, well the living ones obviously."

I just want to know if he ever made it to all 57 states?

That was classic. If you need a good laugh, youtube some of Joe Biden's gaffes. They are really funny.

I hear he's still trying to get directions to the last couple....

Have you noticed the sign on the podium at his first "press conference"? It says "Office of the President Elect". A review of history indicates that his predecessors were not quite so pompous. But, then, this is only the beginning.

On another note, I did read where gun sales were up 30 percent and were expected to continue at a brisk level through the end of the year. Hopefully, this will stimulate the economy.

Very good speech in my opinion. It is so refreshing to listen to a President (elect) who actually knows what he's saying. He used the word bipartisan more than once and it seems very important to him.

 Pompous and Obama? You gotta be kidding me.

You aren't serious about this "bipartisanship", are you? Surely, no one believes that will happen.

As I said in another post, he was the victor and to him goes the spoils. The country will get what it deserves - an extreme left wing government which may contain a left leaning republican or two for appearance sake (like Hagel).

On Yahoo, there is an article listing those believed to be in the running for cabinet posts. Look them over. There is nothing bipartisan in that group. Eric Holder as a possible AG? God forbid.

What exactly did he say of substance?

I do think he will reach across and be "very" successful. But noooo, no one believes that will happen. Surely not, kinda like those discussions you had a few months back? You know the ones, he may be this and he may be that, but "surely" ain't no way he'll be the President.

This Country will get what it deserves huh? Care to explain? Because ya know, things have been soooo good the last eight years.

If you didn't watch, it may be on net somewhere. Look it up.

They all say that, nothing new there.

You have to admit, by picking one of the most partisan Dems out there for COS, it's not looking likely.
