Joe the Plumber

Joe Wurzelbacher is currently being interviewed on Hannity and Colmes. Not really sure why he is relavant, but it strikes me odd that he choose to appear on national tv wearing an older looking t-shirt that I would probably wear to mow grass in or something.

If you want to be interviewed and be taken seriously wouldn't you at least try to look presentable for a spot on a national cable news network. I'm sure he could afford at least a nice collared shirt. Obama's tax plans haven't even taken affect yet.

I have a question...I believe that I am correct in saying that he is behind on his taxes...UNDER THE BUSH TAX PLAN, NOT THE OBAMA TAX PLAN. Doesn't this just come off as someone that just doesn't want to pay any taxes?

Anytime an ordinary American is subjected to character assassination and illegal searches into his private records for trying to put :devil:THE ONE:devil: on the spot, it is relevant in my opinion.

Joe the Plumber is the leading GOP candidate for 2012.

Perfect GOP ticket would be:

Joe the Plumer & Brenda the Hair Stylist

Tax plans................they tell you what you want to hear and do the opposite.

You'll never be able to accuse an Obama supporter of being behind on his/her taxes. That's for sure.;)

It's time to "flush" Joe the Plumber.

So obama and the government are going to take my 401k out and put it where they want it?

Can you say ACORN. $1,000,000.00 behind on their taxes.

I understand why he is in the news, just think that they could find a better guest to discuss political issue on their show. He's had his 15 minutes. Plus it's just a pet peeve of mine when people don't dress appropriately. Wearing jeans to a wedding etc. If I knew I was going to appear on national tv, I would throw on something other than a old wore out looking t-shirt.

I do agree with you about the clothing selection. But, I still think it is refreshing that an unpolished, regular ole citizen gets a little airtime after we are so subjected to a constant barrage of drivel from polished politicians and the like day after day after day.....

I agree with you in a way. It is time that the people who invaded Joe's privacy get their 15 minutes of fame. I want to hear them answering questions about why they felt it was okay to abuse their access to private data for Obama's political benefit. I want to know from what level of Ohio's state government that the orders to violate an American citizen's private data came - all for asking a politician a tough question that the media should have been asking.

It could be he is on a payment plan, paying a monthly amount like any other bill. The IRS allows you to do this if you cannot pay in full at tax time.

What's refreshing about it? This guy hasn't taken care of his business. Find me a citizen who did exactly what they were supposed to do, and then got pooped on by their company and/or government. Then I will listen. I'm not listening to something as corny as Joe "the Plummer." Is it the 1920's? Was Grantland Rice conducting the interview?
