I've been around long enough to have heard the "If he's elected, he will be assassinated/there are sure to be attempts made on his life" rhetoric before. Aside from being a sign of desperation, it is an example of fear-mongering at its worst.

So, assuming that Barack Obama is the anti-Christ - and I'm assuming we're discussing Revelation here - if John McCain were to win the election, are we to believe God would stave off the destruction of the world for a couple of years? Or the end-times described in Revelation aren't inevitable, that the force of a 60% voter turnout could undo the doom planned for earth?

Your post was clear to me - that because people are afraid of Sen. Obama, there would be attempts on his life. I don't necessarily agree - it is my belief that IF there are are such attempts, they will be borne of hate (or mental illness) and not fear.
