Justin Johnson was a beast on the D-Line

Cam Dierig forced a pick that Nienaber returned for a TD.

Carson had some good returns.

Brian Beck had some de-cleaters (as usual)

Kyle Welz had a nice catch.

 

Good game for the Birds, both O & D lines looked tough.

Good win for the JV Birds. The talent at HHS just keeps building and building.

I felt BW played real good early.0-0 end of 1 .BW scored mid-way through the 2 nd QTR. to go up 7.HHS came back to equal at 7.BW then turned the ball over with a couple minutes left.HHS pushed it in with the snap coming with just seconds left in the half. For as good as BW played they did not deserve to be down 14 at the half.

The second half belonged to HHS as happens with BW at the JV level .It is hard to win with only 18 kids and not a true tail back.It makes it even harder going against the likes of a Highlands.

Learn from it and grow is the best thing for the young ,under-manned Tigers.Keep your heads up and play forward .:thumb:

I thought Spencer Bankamper had a solid game on both sides of the ball. He had some nice tackles on D and was running between the tackles hard. In my opinion he's the JV player of the year. I agree the D-line was extremely tough today. Johnson clogs everything up the middle. Cameron Dierig also forced and fumble which was also advanced by Neinaber.

Just a few games. He was great today. I thought he threw the ball well and his running ability was superb today.

There is no doubt in my mind..

How about that quarterback from Beechwood #9, how did he do?

 

He looked good. Beechwood moved the ball much better through the air than on the ground. #24 made had some nice catches. Another receiver made a phenomenal catch but bobbled it as he hit the ground. The ball never hit the ground but he was laying out of bounds when he established possession.
