I believe that you will find that Obama's half-brother has been charging for interviews. It is very unlikely that a hut-dweller who is charging journalists for access would have refused money from his wealthy big brother.

Anybody find it odd that her employer is listed as the Boston Housing Authority? I don't know if it's just something she put on a form, of if she is in fact employed by them, but if she is, it is yet another illustration of no "workable" system across government agencies. The second illustration is that the Boston Housing Authority doesn't know how she got assistance without proper documentation.

We can all cry that the system is abused, but it's not like the government has done anything to increase either the efficiency of the system, or implement systems to better identify abuse.

 

Is it that they do not know or is it they do not want to know? If one believes they do not know how she obtained assistance then they must have their heads in the sand. (or their hand in the cookie jar)

I do agree that the system is flawed. However, it is people like the folks at the Boston Housing Authority that should share in the blame. If they chose to do things the legal way (greed overides that choice) then it would be much easier to police what occurs.

Senator Obama has said that his uncle wasn't in his life much. I have family members I wouldn't help either. I haven't talked to some in over 30 years. Heck, my sister I haven't talked to in over 5. So I don't think this is such a big deal.

Obama has no respect for campaign finance laws or the US Constitution.

If you knew that your uncle was an illegal alien, would you illegally accept a campaign contribution from him? Would you ignore your oath to uphold the US Constitution and consciously make it impossible for your own campaign to determine the legality of campaign donations?

An illegal alien who happens to be the aunt of one of the candidates for the presidency has been the recipient of federally subsidized housing and has made illegal campaign donations to her nephew, the candidate. Do you seriously believe that those facts are not newsworthy? Or had this news been reported earlier and simply ignored?

I'm not a fan of either candidate but I do think this is news. How can it not be? If he became president would it be news to you guys then? 'The President's Aunt is living in this country illegally'. Is that not news????
