Bellevue 2008/2009

#25 was Brad McIntosh, senior last season and graduated. Hunninghake did not play basketball last year.

Correct :thumb:.... The starting 5 was PG- Derek Bryon (11), SG- Austin Kessen(3), 3 guard- Tony Stadtmiller(42)?, F- Roger Babb(24), and C- Brad Macintosh(25)

Off the bench was Senior Shain Ball(4)?, Jr Thomas Barret(30), and So. Mikey Young(21)

Huninghake didn't even play basketball last year. Mike Young is the post player' date=' but IMO, watching the few games I did he didn't even play a lot. Barret should help a lot he came off the bench for them last year. Jones should be huge for Bellevue, and they also have another big guy named Marcus Reynolds who looks to be very tough.[/quote']

Barret ran the point right? Isn't Reynolds a big thick kid?

Barret came off the bench at a little shooting guard, about mid-way through the season I don't think Bryan or Kessen even came out of the games I attended, so guard play will be completely new. Reynolds is a nice sized thick forward who is only a jr.

I would bring up as many Frosh and Sophs to get their Varsity experience, sort of what Dayton did a couple years ago and rebuild.

Sounds to me like this is going to be a rebuilding year.

Bellevue had a very solid record last season. Bringing in Herald will only improve the program as he is a proven winner.

Does anybody know officially if Jones is playing or not?

Yes he is, they are working in him as a guard and forward for the team this year.. The Tigers are going to depend on him heavily after what they lost last year...

Where does jones fit into the mixt this year?

He will be the go to guy when it's needed, he is very explosive, and a great jumper. His defensive is pretty solid as is his rebounding..

He is definitly a great slasher with his speed and quickness... Not really sure on his shooting, I'll be able to tell after thanksgiving day, when my old self tries lacing it up in an alumni exibition game...

He actually has great basketball skills, He has great awareness with, and without the ball. He handles the ball well. I believe he started, or at least played for his former high school as well...

Just out of curiosity, why didn't he play last year?

I don't believe he came to the school until close to end? Not really sure, but that would be my guess, if he did that team would have been very tough...

Hunter did not start at Bellevue until well into January. Obviously that would prevent him from having played.
