I really can't see the difference. Some of those Obama shirts I have seen are really bad and accuse him of all sorts of things. Hard to see why you're getting bent out of shape because someone called Palin a name.

Pat, think about it. You're a bright, sensible, good person. There is nothing worse than calling a woman what these jerks are calling Palin. I know you don't like her, but think past that. There is nothing more shameful than to call a woman this, much worse than anything Obama or McCain has been called. There is just no excuse for this kind of garbage. I'm no Hillary fan, but I would not even consider calling her that, she simply doesn't deserve it. It really sickens me.

McCain defended Obama when he felt things were being said that were untrue and ridiculous, so why shouldn't Obama do the same for Palin?

Try to make it an issue? Pat, you're really being one sided here. I think the things you are talking about with Obama are reprehensible, but you can’t just simply dismiss this as no big deal. Everyone should be sensitive to that word. Picture someone calling your girlfriend, mother or sister that, or even a friend, wouldn’t you be sensitive to it then? I would certainly hope so.
