What's your feeling about a group of "lovely Obama supporters" wearing shirts that call Sarah Palin the most nasty degrading, vile thing you can call a woman. Better yet, since this happened Oct. 11th, why haven't we heard anything from the Media? I don't know if I can post the link or not, I do have one and a picture as well.

McCain defended Obama when he felt things were being said that were untrue and ridiculous, so why shouldn't Obama do the same for Palin?

As in the thread about the woman who was supposedly attacked over a sign (I think that's right), I take these incidents with a healthy helping of salt. If it turns out to be true, and the perpetrators in question are actually supporters of Sen. Obama, the act is reprehensible.

My contention with the "kill him!" and "terrorist!" stuff was that the McCain/Palin rhetoric demanded that conclusion. If you can find similarly pervasive Obama/Biden rhetoric that insinuates that Palin is worthy of such then you'll have my backing. When Obama has to pull the microphone out of hands of supporters to tell them not to say it, then you'll have my backing.

McCain/Palin did nothing to make a few people act like fools.

My point is, until all the facts come out, I don't know who these people are - are they Obama supporters, are they plants, are they nutjobs trying to get on TV? I agree with Hoot on this score, and that's saying something.

When have they ever used rhetoric that "demanded" that conclusion? They've never said anything that leads me to believe that Obama is a terrorist, or that he should be killed.

Intelligent people hear the fact that he was friends with a known terrorist, not that he himself is a terrorist. As for the ignorant ones that think he's a terrorist, well it's sad that those types of people have the right to vote.
