I don't really care. I'm all for anything that gets Tina Fey more screen time. (need a drooling smiley)

See, it's just not as funny when they do Biden. The guy who played Murtha was funny though.

Maybe SNL could just invite Biden to appear as a guest and ask him to deliver reprises of his top gaffes of the week - no script required.

The one thing I don't understand is if SNL is so anti McCain/ Palin then why have they both been guest on the show.

The Michelle sketch was pretty lame.

Better yet. How about a dueling gaffes skit featuring the real Joe Biden and the real Dan Quayle.

Quayle: There are seven letters in the word potatoe.

Biden: I agree, Dan. There are seven letters in the word potato. P-O-T-A-T-O.

The VP who could not spell finds common ground with the VP candidate who cannot count.

Which provides yet another insight into the screwy math of the Obama tax plan. :thumb:

I agree. Too bad that Palin didn't really do anything last week. They could have asked her about her forgein policy experience again and she could have mentioned being able to see Russia from Alaska. Maybe if they had asked her about NASA she would have said that you can see the moon from Alaska, too!

...and Biden could explain again why Iraq should be partitioned into three parts over the objections of the Iraqi government, or why he opposed the Gulf War but supported this Iraq War, or why he opposed virtually all of Ronald Reagan's policies that helped the US win the Cold War, or why in October 2001, he told the rest of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee the following:

"Seems to me this would be a good time to send, no strings attached, a check for $200 million to Iran."

Joe Biden is a buffoon. He is a stand-up comedian's dream - Foghorn Leghorn personified. Having Biden one heartbeat from the presidency is almost as scary as an Obama presidency. Palin has been caricatured by Obama's accomplices at SNL. If the mainstream media were doing its job, no caricaturization of Biden would be necessary to make him into an object of ridicule. His own words and actions would suffice.

Having either of these 4 people either President or a heartbeat away from the Presidency is scary. :scared:

But guess what it is what we have to choose from. Isn't American great?

Shocking.

Palin's actions, and popularity, have made her a comedian's dream. Who would have thought that a VP candidate would wink at the camera during a debate? Give a "shout out" to someone? Here russian "connection" certainly wasn't her only blunder. My favorite I just heard yesterday...after Gretchen Wilson "opened" for her at a campaign by singing "Redneck Woman" Palin said...."someone once called me a redneck woman....you know what i replied?....why thank you very much!"

You feel like this make good stand-up humor? Biden isn't funny because the average American doesn't understand what's funny about the things Biden says. Palin, on the other hand, is the stand-up dream. It's easily to make light of her folksiness and naivety.

For the record, they did a sketch last night about Biden and his "it will only be 6 months before Obama is tested...". I'll guarantee you that it didn't get as many laughs as whenever Fey does a Palin sketch.

Did they use the "Jobs is a three letter word" or "Stand up Chuck (guy in wheelchair) so everybody can see you" lines? If those gaffes are not skit material, then I don't know what is.

However, I agree that much of what Biden says is just plain stupid and scary.
