In the spirit of Halloween and inspired by the accoutns in the "My hosue is haunted" thread, I would like to bring up the place considered to eb the most haunted in the world.

 

Has anyone been there (legally or not)? Has anyone experienced anything?

 

I have always wanted to spend a night there and experience it.

I've been there a couple of Halloween's in a row. Just the way the place looks is creepy. You have to drive back a gravel road maybe a half a mile or so, and then all of a sudden there it is coming out of the woods. It's definitely very creepy.

When I was in high school we went there, but we weren't supposed to be there.

 

When I first got divorced, I rented a house at the foot of the hill on the street you go up to to get to WH. :eek:

I am not a fan of places like this. I get scared over everything. But I have to say this place looks very cool. I am from Louisville and I have never heard of this place.

Gotcha. I am familiar but never been that way. I grew up in Middletown and then moved to Oldham County.

Been there twice. Once for a 2 hour tour and the other time was an 8 hour overnight.

I went there once with the former Mrs. PepRock and one of her friends. They were terrified the whole time during the tour whereas I was intently taking pictures. I saw nothing, head nothing and nothing appeared anywhere that was in any way curious in my pictures.

 

I would like to go back, the history of the place interests me if nothing else and it is a marvelous building.
