I felt sorry for the QB from Sheldon Clark. He took a beating. Tough kid! Sheldon Clark was a strong physical team, but Bell has so many skill position guys and experience that made a difference.

Final Score. 41-0 I would say that the Highland have shown that they are not taking any game lightly after watching this one. Lex Cath has some really big athletic kids. This was a pretty good test. I think the most impressive stand was the Goal Line D holding Lex Cath on 4 and goal on the 1. Pretty impressive. Great win Birds and let's enjoy it tonight, but back to the grindstone tomorrow.

They will not. Highlands is 5A Bell is 4A.

my bad!!!!! I just thought that they were still in the same class since they had played a few times in the past in the semi-finials. It would be a heck of a game if they would play. I guess that I no longer need to clear my schedule and that sucks because I was looking forward to a day off.

This is the second year it has been this way. Of the 4a teams left you have Bell, Boyle and Lex Cath.

 

Highlands along with Cov Cath moved up into 5a.

Bell County's defense now has four shutouts. Three of those against pretty good teams: Knox Central; Rockcastle; and now Sheldon Clark. Defense has allowed only 2 td's this season. That includes all the JV playtime as well! The only other score in seven games.....was when Bell defense had awesome goal line stand to keep Garrard Co. in Death Valley Bowl....week one from scoring, preserving the shutout. Bell takes over on downs. First play JV offense fumbles ball in endzone and Garrard falls on it for TD!:laugh: In Tennesee a blown coverage allowed an 80 yd. pass for TD. Whitley County scored the only "drive" for a TD that the defense has allowed all season!

Had to miss this game. Sounds like Bell really put it on them. Thought this one would have been closer. Bell really made a statement it sounds like to me.
