Just wondering if anyone knew who might have interest. Seems like Ludlow should make a decision soon as I'm sure teams schedules are already filling up.

Just heard Aaron Stamm may have interest. I believe he coached when they won the conference maybe? Kind of interesting considering he coaches girls basketball now. Wonder what would happen there.

Stamm would be a good choice and probably a popular choice amongests the players and supporters of the Ludlow program. Certainly knows how to get the most out of kids and earns their respect by his own hard work. His basketball teams have done exceedingly well the past few years and I do believe he helped former baseball Coach Woody McMillen when Ludlow had some success in the past. Stamm is a dedicated worker and one who would at least add some stability to a baseball program that for the past few years has been something of a revolving door.

Regardless of who the Ludlow school picks for this post they need to get it done. If I'm not mistaken this looks a lot like last year when it took them until after the holidays to get a new coach. By waiting so long they are only doing the kids and the program a big disservice.

:thumb:Agree and just a bit of a reminder to all the parents and players who think they should just go hire some knothole coach..If you don't have the necessary 64 credit hours to be hired as a para-professional then it's a moot point. Just can't do it and in all honesty not sure it would be the best thing for the program. Whomever it is please lets let the coach coach, the kids play and the parents cheer and be supportive.

For the most part I do agree with you. However there are a few very good coaches in the knothole program for Ludlow...

As Mr. Infamous said Coach Stamm was an assistant coach to Coach McMillen back in 2001 when Ludlow won the conference by beating Beechwood in an extra innings game. I don't know how much interest Coach Stamm has in the job, however if he does get the job. I am sure he will do a good job and will surrond himself with good coaches as well.

I'm pretty sure they named Coach Stamm before the holidays.

They did. We announced it on our weekly show around the start of basketball season. Forgot to add it here. Sorry.

Is it just me or is there a coaching vacancy in Ludlow about every year or two?

Congrats Aaron! I had the privilege of playing a year of ball with Aaron back in the day. He's a good guy. I wish him all the best, and he will do Ludlow proud. :thumb:
