I heard that La Tech's coaches were helping him get into a good JUCO. Is the Cincinnati State rumor true?

I was told yesterday that they hooked him up at a Junior College in Iowa. Arrez reported but only stayed a couple of days before returning home.

It's his ACT that wouldn't allow him to.

I had previously read on this site that he was an honor student. Him not academically qualifying does not make sense.

It sounds like the NCAA did not honor his ACT score and might have made him validate it by taking it again?

Even though he was an honor student, made A's and B's doesn't mean that much. The ACT is what counts the most as far as getting into a college. I see him staying at Cinci State just like westsider said and getting his assos. degree like he needs to, and then moving onto a bigger school where he really needs to be.

I understand that his is not something we want to be happy about, but I think this could be a blessing in disguise. He stays home and gets coached by some good guys at Cincy St. Cincy St has had a great program over the past few years. Possibly this gets him to UC eventually where I feel like he can be a good contributor off the bench.

Good Luck Arrez, NKY is still behind you.

Good luck to Arrez. A great kid with hopefully good things in his future.

You can't read between the lines????

No, you can't read at all.....

If Henderson wasn't qualified under NCAA academic guidelines, he will have to stay at Cincinnati State for two years and get his associate's degree before transferring to a Division I school.

That is correct. Unless he graduates by the end of next summer then he could move on to a 4 year school. Otherwise he will have to stay two years and get his degree.
