September 24, 200818 yr Bengals O all starts up front. Not very good. Why do you all keep talking about the Browns offense being due for a break out game. You all do realize the Bengals have a good offense as well and are definitely due for a breakout game as well. I don't see the Browns having that breakout game, because they don't have the QB IMO. If you remember the Bengals shut down Anderson pretty good during the second game last year. The difference is the Browns have a pretty good line. Or, at least, it's a lot better than the Bengals'. I wouldn't be shocked to see a shootout, but if I were betting my life on one offense to break out as opposed to another, I'd pick the Brown Spots.

I wouldn't be shocked to see a shootout, but if I were betting my life on one offense to break out as opposed to another, I'd pick the Brown Spots. The Bengals line gave up just 17 sacks last year. I know they have been bad so far this year, however you got to look at the people they played against so far. This line is not as bad as they have played so far. The browns probably wont get much pressure at all on Palmer and they have no secondary. This is the week the Bengals offense should break out. Yeah the Browns are capable of breaking out, however this Bengals defense really is not that horrible this year IMO. Plus the Browns don't have a good QB like the Bengals do IMO. Anderson had a career year last year, and I predicted all off season he and the Browns would fall on their face this year, and so far they have. Just look at the second game last year in Cincy, the Bengals did just fine against Anderson and expect it to happen again. So I would be betting my money on the Bengals offense this week to break out more than the Browns.

How about yds per rush? Oh yeah some want to blame Rudi for that. They lost 3 major guys on the 2005 line and have replaced them with duds. Lookout Jones has never lived up to his high draft pick. Whit and Williams are the only 2 that I'd even call seviceable. Again, another fan overestimating the talent on this bad football team.
September 25, 200818 yr Bengals O all starts up front. Not very good. :thumb: It is hard to open up your offense when the defense is in your backfield before you are. I will say though that I didn't watch much of the Bengals last game at all and from the way it sounds they must have played better.

The chiefs game last year he was terrible. However over his career so far, he actually shut out a lot of top pass rushers. I believe he has been name a pro bowl alternate for the last three years. So yeah I doubt they would have someone who is terrible as a pro bowl alternate. In 2005 or maybe it was 2006 he actually probably should have been in the pro bowl over Jonathan Ogden.
September 25, 200818 yr Cleveland should win the game..i'll go with the Browns 31-28.. Why "should" cleveland win this game? They definitely have not proved at all that they are a better team than the Bengals. Honestly there is no way to say either team should win, because both teams have sucked so far. The Browns probably have sucked even worst so far.

September 27, 200818 yr For the Ohio toilet bowl it would be easy to say Browns get flushed :sssh:, but I think the Brownies have better linemen on both sides of the ball. 38-35 Brownies
