September 23, 200818 yr I thought I'd drafted one of the best teams I've ever had...unfortunately, I drafted a handful of the biggest early season busts in history. Randy Moss, Braylon Edwards, Ben Roethlisberger Here is my current roster... QB - Big Ben, Trent Edwards, Brady Quinn RB - Chris Johnson, LenDale White, Steven Jackson, Thomas Jones, Steve Slaton WR - Moss, Edwards, Jerricho Cotchery, DeSean Jackson, Bobby Engram TE - Chris Cooley K - Matt Prater D/ST - Tennessee I want to try to add a dependable, big play WR. A couple of trades I'm considering... 1. Moss and DeSean Jackson for Steve Smith 2. One guy in my league has Peyton Manning and Donovan McNabb. I'm considering offering him Big Ben, Moss and another WR or RB for Manning or McNabb and Marques Colston. My team is 0-3 and I can't really afford to wait half the season for Matt Cassel and "The Genius" to figure out how to get the most talented WR in the NFL the football. I also can't wait around for the Steelers offensive line to pave Big Ben's way to the ER. Also, I feel good about my RB situation. I say that because Chris Johnson may be my most tradeable player and I'm considering offering him up for an impact WR. Any thoughts/advice? Should I pursue a move or ride it out with my current roster?
September 23, 200818 yr Don't do trade numero uno. Jackson is going to do well this year. Try Big Ben and Braylon for Peyton or McNabb. I bet he'd do it.

I think the odds of him coming around are better than Moss at this point. Jackson is unproven...Steve Smith is a stud who gets a lot of balls thrown his way and Delhomme is healthy. I like his upside this year if he doesn't get hurt.

Braylon has been dropping passes, but I'd still offer Big Ben and Moss for Peyton or McNabb. The odds of Steve Smith and Jake Delhomme both staying on the field is minimal. Then again, I am 0-3 in both leagues anyways
September 23, 200818 yr Author I actually like McNabb a little better than Manning. I'd take either...I don't really care. Both are an upgrade for me and he doesn't need them both.

Especially considering how good my team looked on paper before the season.
September 23, 200818 yr I have 5 leagues. I'm 2-1 1-2 1-2 1-2 (Money League I have the most points in the League but I have got beat 2 straight weeks) 0-3 ( Brady Killed my whole season)
September 23, 200818 yr 5wide, Have faith in Braylon Edwards and Moss... Edwards has been playing hurt since week 1 (I have him too) and if Brady Quinn gets the nod at QB here soon he is going to need a security blanket which will either be Edwards or Winslow. Moss is the victim of conservative coaching right now. Cassell and the Pats are run first, run second, pass last. As the season goes Cassell will get the green light to go down the field more often.
September 23, 200818 yr 3-0 here, but lucky. We can play a wild card player and almost everyone plays an extra QB. I played Frerotte and Delhomme and still won. LTs gimme Tds last night put over the top. I'm hearing Trent Green is replacing Bulger. Should I try and pick him up?
September 23, 200818 yr Ask him what it would take for Manning or McNabb and let him decide which one he wants to get rid of. He might ask back for less than what you're willing to offer. I traded Ben for Rivers today.
September 24, 200818 yr I'd do the Moss/Jackson for Smith deal in a heartbeat. Seattle has a bye, and Engram should be back in action for Seattle, he should be solid in that offense, posted good numbers last season, and Seattle likes to toss the skin. How long can Julius Jones actually play at a high level? More passing, and he has the most experience of any healty WR for the Hawks.

I think Braylon will get going...especially if Quinn gets to start. I'm not as confident in Moss. I'm sure he'll have a few good games, but nothing consistent. I may be wrong...if I get stuck with him, I hope I am wrong.
