Lots of CCH fans seem to be taking Scott very easily this week. With their new coach, new offense, and coming in 2 and 0, I wouldn't be surprised to see Scott maybe pull out a win this week. I've heard CCH defense is a little slow, and with the speed of Reyes, and Sowder things might end up getting ugly for CCH. We'll just have to wait and see.

I think you're right overall about overlooking Scott and you're somewhat accurate about CCH D not being overly quick. To defend the people overlooking Scott, its hard to get excited about Scott if you haven't watched them play and you simply look at their schedule.

While I agree, this is not a dominant CCH team, and Scott could provide them a good game, to state that things might get ugly for CCH is beyond words to describe. Thanks for the comic relief.

I would love to see the Eagles pull off a victory over Cov Cath but I am going to remain optimistic about this game I don't see it happening because to me Scotts offense is 1 dimensional this year they can run and pound it but they really can't throw it that well.If you can't throw it well against Walton and Dayton it isn't going to happen against Cov Cath. I am sure Cov Cath will stack the box and take away the runs and contain Reyes and Bruner from getting outside this will force Scott to put it in the air more than they want to.

 

Eagle fan for life but I don't see them beating the Cov Cath and Highlands team this year. However I do give them strong chances against a weaker than ever Dixie team and also a better Holmes team this year.

I honestly hope that if Cov. Cath wins, Coach Fisk rubs it in the Eagles face and walks off that field with the biggest smile on his face he has ever had!!!! I kind of want the Colonels to win just cause I want to see Coach Fisk do this.:fire:

Coach Fisk would never do this. I'm sure he has personal feelings regarding this, but I think he has too much class and love for the school.

CCH didnt seem to good to many people last year either. And I believe they were up 49-0 on the Eagles with 11 minutes left in the game, and started clearing the bench.

 

The was then, new coach, new attitude, mental masterbastion! I personally think this wont be a good game, this will be a great game. They might just suprise alot of those out there that have doubts.The Eagles are in a much better place then they were in years past. They shouldnt be underestimated.

CCH does indeed miss Bruner on the defensive side of the ball. That being said, I do not think any CCH player is "afraid" of being hit by him. Kyle may not even be a starting player on Cardinal Mooney.

Pretty sure he would have been a starter! One kid doesnt make a team but one kid can motivate the entire team to be "HEAD STRONG"! Get the job done eagles.

This game will be a joke. I can't believe anyone would think this would be close. Fans of a school or not, everyone needs to realize how good CCH is this year.

Come on people just because they painted the floor in the locker-room and put a logo in the middle of the floor this does not make them a better team. There is always a boost in moral for a while when there is a coaching change and you get off the season with 2 wins but now the real test begins over the next few weeks let's see what happens before we say these Coaches are the greatest. I hope they are and they turn it around because I love Scott.

Dont know who is who here but "Dirty"! Obviously there are different definitions of dirty. Kids leave schools for plenty of reasons. As far as I know noone on the forum knows why! Not a "Dirty" move. Implying it was, leads me to believe there is a rumor mill running out there. Careful who you listen to.What is done is done. This kid doesnt play dirty, think dirty and shouldnt have it associated with his name. Just saying give credit where credit is due and dont talk about things as fact when you really dont know it. Its not fair to anyone. Fact is Bruner doesnt play for CCH anymore. That is all. lets just talk about the game, shall we?
