Yeah, but South has to play better defense.

Bowling throws 4 TD passes (13 on the season with only 1 pick), but the Cards come up short. He now has 109 and is only 24 from Tim Couch's record. But it will all be for naught if the defense doesn't improve. They also have to stop picking up so many penalties. They have hurt themselves all season with these. Tonight, it may have cost them the game with the 85 yard TD pass to Cobb called back. They had 2 penalties on that play alone.

 

With that being said, Adam White for Southwestern is a stud, plain and simple.

Giving the opponent the ball in good field position hurts any defense. I just noticed this from a fumbled kick return. Just curious but how long does the defense stay out there for SL compared to their offense, because SL has some great passing schemes that result in big plays and quick scores. People also need to remember that, their defense will come together.

What a battle!! Those guys left it all out on the field last night. And then, they came together at the end, joined hands, and one of South's players lead the prayer. Awesome prayer!!

 

South is very big and VERY fast! I was proud of my Warriors though! 21 - 7 at the end of the first, and they didn't quit! Sidelines kept them up the whole game!! Great great game.

Not a lot of defense in this one.. Close to 900 yds. gained by the two teams.. Lots of big stats but the one I like the best is a big zero for SW (no turnovers).. Great effort by the Warriors after falling behind early....

Titles are won with defense.

Sounds like this was an exciting game with lots of offense an no defense. Congratulations to SW in a nailbiter.

He was a stud as well. What a great 1-2 combo with those 2 in the backfield.

Great win by SW, sorry I pick SL to win in the pick 10 Contest, just as soon I pick them to win, something in my head said, super, you pick the wrong team to win.By then it was too late to go back and change it. Just wasn't thinking.
