Tanner Perkins pitched for Rockcastle and Aaron Hampton pitched 6 scoreless for Southwestern then Tyler Blair came in and pitched the 7th for Southwestern.
This game was close through 5 innings. It was a pitchers duel with the score being 2-0 in the bottom of the 6th. This is when Rockcastle's defense fell apart and gave the Warriors 5 runs on 5 errors. Nice win SW.
The game was up for grabs earlier but the Warriors let this one slip away with errors and wild pitches. Southwestern didn't have their full team either due to players being sick. But hats off to Western Hills keep it up.
Southwestern has the potential to sneak up and win the 12th region if not properly respected as an opponent, size in key places should help this team as well as a deep bench. This could be the sleeper.
I highly Doubt Letcher can compete with the warriors speed and after the past couple of games it seems to be that the warriors defense will give the cougars very little to work with. I see the warriors shutting down the passing game and killing the running game. Warriors win in a Blowout!!
a lineman from PLD was slamming SW's #45's Head in the ground anyone in the right mind would have stepped in to help their teammates, it just happend to be #36
