What does everyone think?

Haven't seen either team play but I will most certaintly be pulling for the Camels as a former player. I will go with CCHS 27 BCHS 20 with the knowledge that the Camels had a good showing against Cov Cath and had a nice win on the road in week 1.

This is a big 6A district game in NKY. I think the Camels win at home in a close one.

How is Campbell against the run? Does Campbell pass alot? I'm thinking it should be close as most NKY 6A battles are or at least have been. Once I get my questions answered I will post my prediction!

Campbell is strong all around defensively. They bring an older and talented defensive line to the game with three seniors. I would watch for them and the very talented linebacker core to have a great game. The entire Camel defense has some nice speed, and I know they are coming to the game prepared. As for how well they play the run, they remain fairly untested, but they look much improved from years past in the run defense category.

 

To answer your question, I really don't know how much Campbell will pass, but they tend to pass the ball a bit more than they run it.

I went to their scrimmage at Cov.Cath. and came away impressed with the defense, mostly the run defense. They mixed the offense very well with screens, long passes and two hard running backs.

With all that I read.... Campbell Co. seems to have the advantage considering Boone runs a lot. The weather might come into affect Friday and with Boone running game and the rain we are suppose to get I'm going to go with Boone in a defensive battle 14-7. Yes I know this is probably homerish. I hate to pick against them.

Rule 13

This will come down to Boone's running game against an in-experienced Camel Defense. The Camels bring a lot of athletecism to the Defensive side of the ball, but there are 9 new starters. If this is a close game, Boone will win. The Camels will have to open up the offense and try to make this a track meet. If the game turns into a game in the trenches, the Camels do not have the depth to last into the end of the game.

How does the field at the "pyramid" hold up with the rain? I know it didn't when I was playing on it, but a few years ago they did some crushed rubber project with the natural grass. Any improvement? I think if the field is sloppy it shifts the advantage to the Rebels.

IMO the Camels are going to have trouble throwing the ball tomorrow night with the rain and its going to be hard running against the Rebel D.
