Didn't these two play a JV game last year?

 

They did but I can't recall who won? I think WV did.

I'll take WV. I haven't seen them play, but a coworker has and he only had good things to say about them.

With two new programs like these, The better coached team will win. I'm going to take WV by 6.

Too bad both teams cannot win...But after seeing both teams play I think that Walton will be the more physical team and come out with the program's first varsity win

Either way this game will be historic!

Walton scored their 1st varsity TD last Friday , but you could tell it didn't matter to they without the win .

Come on Mustangs, reach down deep and get that first win. There will be no turning back for the momentum of this program once that happens.

I don't know what WV's or BB's schedules look like but I'd say this is both schools best remaining chance at getting a W.

I don't know a lot about the majority of teh schools on either team's schedule but WV might have a chance to get the win against Cooper.

Bishop Brossart get the win in this one.

Should be a very competitive game both teams are very young. Anything can happen but IMO Brossart wins by 7.

That one TD might be the only one scored all game.

Actually I think that quite a bit of scoring will be done.

 

Brossart's running game was impressive against Owen County (who lost to Gallatin County in week two), while giving up a couple of big plays defensively.

 

If Brossart can move the ball on the ground effectively, and Walton-Verona scores on a couple of big plays, we should have a dandy of a ballgame Saturday afternoon at 2pm at Newport Stadium. IF the Mustang defense can stop the big play this week, I look for my Mustangs to log our first ever varsity victory.

First of all, we know that someone will come out a winner. This will probably the only game that they will win this year. I will not disappoint my Brossart fans on my prediction. WV wins by by 9 points in a Titanic Struggle.
