I heard through my NCC sources that they are looking to dig out the side of the hill and put in a football stadium. Any truth to that? I would love to hear the scoop. Any info?????

Your NCC source is about a year behind the times. These plans went out in the Alumni newsletter last year.

 

From all I've heard its still a ways off though.

It will happen but in the future and as 98 says this is old news to NCC alums .:sleep:

Maybe NCC & Highlands can go together and build a shared stadium kind of like Hopkinsville and Christian County. Each pitch in a couple of mil or so and do up a real nice facility. :dancingpa

I think partly and also moreso where the driveway and parking lot is now. I have the drawing around here somewhere, if I can find it I wiil scan it in.

They are working on the building right now. New chapel, black box theater, new classrooms, and new weight room. The stadium will come a few years from now.

That's going to be Newport Pavilion, Krogers, Target, IHOP, BW3's, etc...

They did years of economic research before they made their decision. Rennovating the building was the only feasible option.
