Henry will win this game easliy and most likely have another shutout. I look for Cody Hinkel to have another great game, as he has the past 2. He still is looking for his first td and im sure he will get it this week.

I see your point. The schedule was made after Henry was 3-9. Henry plays in the NCKC (Trimble, Carroll, Eminence and Owen) and they played a tough Ludlow with Scott High and Pendleton County as the other non-district competition.

North Oldham and Western Hills have been playing well this year. The District's best win was WH over Grant County.

Hills and North O. are improved. I look forward to catching these games and seeing who comes out on top.

Henry County big in this one.... not certain abut a goose egg though! The boys from OC may just hang a score on them. I think HC 49 - OC 3.

Henry will win as bad as they want to. It is hard to predict a shutout with turnovers and the prediction of rain for the night but I will say Henry 54 Owen 6.

Congrats to Henry Co on their #1 Lit ranking this week. That should make 'ol #70 pretty happy!

Ol' Leonard may not seem so foolish to ya' now that Henry County has posted two shut outs and catapulted to the top of the 3A rankings in one poll and #6 in another. I would prefer the top ranking in week ten as opposed to week three. Never the less, it is quite a recognition for a group of hard working, hard nosed Wildcat footballers. Let's get down to business. The Wildcats from New Castle go on the road this week and travel across the Kentucky River for a border war with the Rebels from Owen County. It says here that Owen County has been dealt a bad hand in this game. Henry's offense is putting up points at a feverish pace and the defense is nothing but tough. Henry's defense could be even stronger Friday night if all state junior linebacker Erick Butler is cleared for play. He has not been on the field yet this season and he is slobbering at the mouth for some action. That won't be good for the Rebel O. Owen comes into the game 1-1 after getting spanked by Gallatin County at home last week. Rain is a possibility Friday night. I don't think it can rain hard enough or long enough to change to outcome of this one. This one could get ugly early. Henry stays unbeaten and unscored on for the third week. Leonard's loser in a romp, Owen County. Let's get the rain suits out, Percy.

These always crack me up. If All State Honorable Mention Jr. LB Eric Butler is cleared to play, the already tough defense just got that much tougher. I say Henry gets its third straight shutout, but doesn't put up as many points due to rain. 28-0 HC

He has a nagging knee injury and the doctors wont release him. I heard he wouldnt be back until the North Oldham game, but hopefully I am wrong because Henry needs him on the field.

According to a previous post from ol #70 it looks like Henry has done fine without Butler. A player with his potential needs to make sure he is completely healed rather than to go back prematurely and risk a career ending injury. Good Luck tonight Cats!

With a knee injury,a muddy field is the last place he needs to be. If he was mine he would sit this one out.
