And if her daughter would have practice abstinence, she would GUARANTEED not been pregnant.

ANY OTHER WAY and she still might be in the shape she is in now.

Maybe her daughter was practicing some sort of birth control that is taught in sex ed, unbeknownst to her mother, and it FAILED.

I vehemently disagree. Conservatives weren't staying home on election day (are the thread-a-day Obama attacks any indication?). Picking Palin brings no new voters to the table, probably turning off a few in fact.

 

I'm just one vote but her selection lured me to vote Conservative this election. I was undecided before this selection to vote for Mcain, not vote at all or vote for the Green Party. I'm sure there are others just like, actually I've spoken with them personally. I feel it did sway votes.

I'm just going to attempt to understand your logic. You were going to cast a vote for someone who wasn't Obama. Instead of McCain, you landed on Cynthia McKinney?

Since understanding my logic isn't on trial here, I'll make it short and sweet. I vote for the person not the party and I do not like Obama. I had more choices going on in my mind also, not just McKinney or Mcain and then there was the whole not voting thing. Listening to Palin, I guess some Obama supporters can understand where I am coming from; I was just taken away by her speech and stature.

Cynthia McKinney is probably more of a liberal than Obama. So when you say "I vote on the person, not the party", what you really mean is "I vote on the person, not the issues." Which is fine, I guess. Apparently, McCain caved to the Green Party supporters as well.

As most know, I am going third party and Palin didn't get me to McCain, but in all fairness I am fairly certain McCain is crushing Obama in Kentucky.

 

My mother on the other hand told me the other day that Palin has brought MANY members of her church including her to McCain. They were going to sit, go 3rd party, or possibly vote Obama because they weren't to fond of McCain. These voters are now firmly with McCain.
