On the one hand that was the best drive of the day for UL and maybe they were thinking they needed to try and get a TD while they could, but it's demoralizing to drive that far and come away with nothing. Down 10-0 with both offenses stalling, I say take the points. There's a reason I'm not getting paid millions to coach though... I would just feel better going to the half with a few points on the board.

Hunter is unimpressive, but it's not all on him. Louisville's o-line is looking like taffy. Hartline has a lot of potential, but the Cards don't seem to be pressuring him much. I haven't really noticed, but is the d-line shooting the gaps or trying to man up to the o-line? PLEASE SHOOT THE GAPS! The cardinal defense is definitely looking better than last year, but UK's offense isn't their strong point, so I'm still worried about the season. I know the Cardinals can score, but they need to get it together.
August 31, 200818 yr My thoughts of first half. UL is being real conservative on Offense. UL defense is looking real good. UK defense is stingy. Uk run game is not looking as good as I thought it would.
