August 25, 200818 yr Like I said, in the first game he played AWFUL. The kid is a player, but some were saying #1 overall pick... c'mon. I believe he is eligible for the nba draft in 2010, so he will be 19 years old, plus he will have at least 3 years pro experience. With the way the NBA is becoming more International, and good point guard play is a must, IMO it would a very smart pick to take kid with the 1st pick in 2 years depending on the team and their needs. You also have to take into consideration that they only time a lot of people have got to see him play (myself included) our these olympic games agaisnt the U.S, where he played against 3 of the top 5 pg's in the NBA.

August 25, 200818 yr I stayed up to watch this game and I'm very glad I did. This was one of the best basketball games i've ever seen. You could tell both teams wanted it, and you could also tell the United States is still above the rest of the world when they want to be. Anyway, one thing I noticed is that Marc Gasol is a punk and throws a lot of cheap shots.

August 25, 200818 yr I was still up after work and caught the last 5 minutes of the game. Pretty intense and exciting. Glad we held on. Pretty impressive that their closest victory was 11 points.
August 25, 200818 yr It was a very good game. Kobe made huge plays in the 4th, but Wade made the biggest shot. You could tell at the end that there were 3 guys who weren't going to lose. LBJ was not one of the 3.
