August 17, 200818 yr Who is this Ricky Dixon you speak of? Glad to hear Tony is playing well at least. Sounds like the offensive line, particularly the interior, has a LOT of work to do. Time is running out. 2 weeks until they laced them up. Whatever is causing the poor play, I hope it is execution and not lack of ability.

August 18, 200818 yr I think any KY fan with sense knows they should be good on defense and struggle on offense. The defense should be as good as it's been in a long time IMO other than missing Woodyard bad. Offensively they lost a QB, RB, TE and 2 WR's to the NFL!!!! That is tough to replace!!! They were down at QB anyways before Pulley let them down. They should have a nice stable of RB's, Lyons is proven and a lot will depend on the Oline+young WR's IMO. They have a good TE+FB too. Realistically I'm hoping for a bowl game. I think the defense has the potential to keep them in games if the running game holds up and Lyons etc make plays off play action etc. Their Oline has to come to play this year because they have the backs to be solid and will need help in the passing game.
August 18, 200818 yr I expected the D to be ahead of the O at this point, but not way ahead. Of course having that many O starters out had an impact. I am a little concerned about the offense, but it is nice that the D is a strength this season. It has been a long while since we could say that (probably back to Bill Curry or Jerry Claiborne).

August 19, 200818 yr WAY ahead 2 weeks from kickoff? I wouldn't be happy with that at all... Im not that concerned. Half the backfield was out. They had to rotate a few guys on the OL. There is still going to be some growing to do in the first few weeks of the season.
