We did Vacation Express this time, the previous two we have done Apple Vacations. I liked Apple better but the Tecate Lights were free on Aeromexico....not a bad brew I might add.
August 11, 200818 yr How is Punta Cana ? We were considering going there next year. That was our first all-inclusive, and it was pretty good. The kids have gone with us on our first two, and we went without them this year. Punta Cana is nowhere as modern as Cancun. Pretty much a two-lane road to the resorts, and traffic laws seem non-existent. Would be much more uneasy leaving the resort. Heck armed guards are at the gates. But many times with all-inclusives, it is the resort itself, and service that is the tell-tale sign. We stayed at the Copacabana just south of Playa and it was fantastic, other than the rooms...people complained about theft and they had never corrected the air-conditioning after Hurricane Wilma. With kids in the tropics you will spend down time in the rooms....it was humid to say the least. It has changed its name to Royal Catalonia Tulum.

August 11, 200818 yr Looks great. Why don't more Mexicans want to stay? B/c you can't make anything unless you own your own business. I don't know about the mainland, but on the Peninsula it is very hard to find a job where you make enough money unless you own the company.
