Thanks for working with me here:irked::mad:

nWo, the rule is 2 starters on the roster, you can have more than 2, but only 2 starters.

The rule reads:

ROSTER LIMITS

Since this is a 16 team league and there is only 32 NFL teams, each team will have a roster limit of two "starting" quarterbacks, kickers and defense teams. This is done so every team will be able to have a replacement for their starters at these positions on bye weeks.

The un-written rule that we had drafted with in the past is that you can only draft two QBs and PKs.

If he wants to draft three QBs, let him. His mistake anyway...

I've always thought we can have more than 2 but only 2 starters. I mean we are arguing over Alex Smith for goodness sakes! If three of them start then one has to be dropped. I got in that situation with the whole Arizona shuffling QB's.

Let's get this dumb round over with

After looking at the rules again and thinking the matter over, the rules do say only two starting QBs, and one of them would be a backup, the only fair thing to do (as per the rules) is to give him Smith.
